Jane recently graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art.
On-site drawing and writing underpin Jane's practice. The act of ‘being there' with all its sensual experiences is particularly important. Sometimes a series of drawings emerge as a finished statement, and at other times the drawings become part of an evolving process that results in a series of paintings.
Jane's work has been included in a number of selected exhibitions around the country, and during autumn 2007 she was invited to stage a solo show at The Arts Centre, Liverpool Community College .
Currently, Jane is engaged in a project documenting four of the JMU art school buildings via drawings and notes, which will form an archive of life within these facilities in their last year before the opening of the new Academy of Art & Design.
